I love salty food, and I buy a lot of different salts. This is one, though, that I have found isn’t that great on the food after it is prepared.

The only exception is for pretzels.

It really is great for those.

For other foods, though, the salt crystals are just too big.

      They’ve actually hurt

      my teeth!

For cooking, though, it’s perfect because they are big and they don’t clump up, and an added plus, it doesn’t get clogged up.

The container has three different openings.

One is an oval, another is a spout, and the last one, a series of holes.

The series of holes, however, doesn’t work at all! It also ...

      • doesn’t supply iodine, which is a drawback.

Another plus is that it is in a big tall green container, and sticks out like a sore thumb on the counter.

The label contains the Morton’s Girl inside a blue square, but underneath it has a clipper ship in a light blue oval.

I bought this salt thinking it would be

my own personal salt shaker, but it doesn’t shake, not with the series of holes, but it does pour on that oval.

The spout is your best bet, but it does get clogged up like a traffic jam when you try to get more than a little bit.
