      Lapu Lapu is one of the famous variety of fish in my country. It is named after a local hero who killed Magellan, the Spanish invader. This recipe was provided by Knorr as part of its promotion. There are several ways on how to cook

      this fish and this is one of those.


      1 pc Lapu Lapu, medium size, deboned

      Fillet the meat and cit into 1/2″ wide strips, reserve the bones with the bead and tail intact

      2 sachets Knorr Real Seasoning 7g

      1/3 cup Ginger Juice

      1/3 cup cornstarch

      oil for deep frying

      2 pcs hard boiled egg, mashed

      1/3 cup chorizo bilbao, sauteed and chopped or ham

      1/3 cup black olives, sliced

      1/4 cup pickle relish

      1/2 cup Lady’s choice Mayonnaise

      1/2 lemon

      What I like about this recipe is the convenience because the fish is already sliced, and there are variations. You have ham, chorizo, pickles. Its more of an appetizer rather than a main course for me.
