For those Star Wars fans who yearn to conquer the galaxy, Star Wars: Empire at War is indeed a game worthy of your attention. Although the game lacks an engaging storyline, the games thorough approach to the Star Wars universe does much to offset its mediocre campaigns.

      Of the many things that

make EAW a great game is its graphics.

Not many Real-time-strategies go all out with the detail of the individual units.

EAW goes beyond the normal limits of previous RTS’s graphics, which do much to increase the gaming pleasure.

The intricate detail of the starships cleary dictates the work that was spent ...

      • on them.

EAW also brings a new addition to the RTS field: Movie mode.

Movie mode is an option that one can select anytime during the game to switch on a more zoomed in camera view of one’s troops and units.

As the camera pans about in a cinematic way, one can

see his battle unfold like an in-game movie! Although EAW could be better with a more involved storyline, it makes up for this with its great graphics and clever introduction of a movie mode.

Even so, EAW is not Battlefront 2 and will probably not keep one’s attention for months on end.
