  • I can't even say how much I love this thin strip medication through Triaminic
  • I think I went through half my life without taking swallowing a pill because I hated it, and wished they'd had something like this when I was a kid
  • My review isn't based on my own kids, though, since they were too old and can take adult medications by the time I found this
  • If my kids were still young, I'd definitely invest in STOCK in this company, because it's a perfect product, easy to use, easy to take, no guessing games, and the kids don't really seem to mind taking it

I can’t even say how much I love this thin strip medication through Triaminic! My kids are teenagers now, and fully capable of swallowing a pill when they aren’t feeling good, but my youngest son still prefers to take a liquid if we have it. I think I went through half my life without taking swallowing a pill because I hated it, and wished they’d had something like this when I was a kid. My children don’t get sick all that often, but when they do, they are absolutely miserable, yet still try to tough it out without any complaints. Half the time, I don’t

even realize they’ve come down with something until it’s affecting them pretty heavily, and they’ve already been miserable for days as it is. I’ve used Triaminic liquid in the past to treat the symptoms associated with the common cold or flu, and it’s usually worked fairly well for my kids, so I was pretty excited when I had found these strips on the shelves. My review isn’t based on my own kids, though, since they were too old and can take adult medications by the time I found this. I was actually sitting for a friend of mine, watching her seven year old for a week while her and her husband were on vacation, and she had provided me with a mini medicine cabinet of medications while her daughter was here. These triaminic strips were part of what she brought over.

I have to admit that I actually snuck one for myself because I wanted to test out the taste. We all know how awful cough syrup and syrups for colds, in general, taste, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised that this wasn’t all that bad. Don’t get me wrong, it can still make you pucker a bit, and if you don’t chase it with a glass ...

of water, I think the taste lingers a bit longer than a syrup would, but it still wasn’t all that bad, and my friend’s daughter happily took them without complaint. They are far easier to swallow than a tablet, because you just let it dissolve on the tongue, and they are far less messy than a syrup when you have to wash out the cup, and then you are always a little unsure the amount ot give your child because those cups they give you are a guessing game at best some times. So, these strips were incredibly easy to use, and I think every
child’s medication should be in one of these dissolving kind of strips.

The little girl I was watching had a runny nose that she was constantly wiping at, and had been suffering from allergies for a couple weeks, but within the hour, she was like a new little girl, and you’d never have known (save for the red nose) that there was anything wrong. If my kids were still young, I’d definitely invest in STOCK in this company, because it’s a perfect product, easy to use, easy to take, no guessing games, and the kids don’t really seem to mind taking it. High marks for Triaminic.
