  • That was my hope anyway, when I bought this drink mix, for an unbelievable amount of $30 for about a month supply
  • I wouldn't say it tasted bad, really, but definitely not something I was just eager to get back too
  • I suppose it's more convenient having the drink mix, and definitely cost effective when you get the same nutrients, but you simply can't avoid all fruits and veggies, therefore, this drink mix just ends up being an added cost I couldn't afford
  • I saved myself the money next time, since I didn't really experience any health epiphanies that had me going back for more, and bought some fruits and veggies from a fruit stand down the street, which was cheaper than a grocery store and definitely cheaper than this mix

I have to admit that I was a little hesitant to try a drink mix that would even remotely taste like vegetables, but I figured if V8 can do it, then why not this one, and make it taste good. So, I dropped an unbelievable amount of money on yet another crazy health-kick of mine and bought the Royal Greens Ultra Blend drink mix. I really do hate eating fruits and veggies and would love it if it was suddenly super healthy for everyone to live off red meat and carbs. But, alas, such is not the case. I have to actually consume those fruits

and veggies if I want to get the nutrients from them. Or do I? That was my hope anyway, when I bought this drink mix, for an unbelievable amount of $30 for about a month supply. I suppose that’s still better, expense wise, than buying pounds of fruits and veggies every week, when one drink gets you all the vitamins and minerals you would normally need from those fresh fruits and veggies. And, ultimately, though it lists all these benefits you’ll get from this drink mix, it basically boils down to just feeling better in general. I didn’t think I would be able, at the
end of my first drink, to be able to pinpoint how or why I was feeling better, but was hoping that I was just getting the nutrients I needed and was avoiding, and that I might feel a little more energetic in the end. If I could feel like I dont want to spend the day in bed, on my day off when it’s sunny and beautiful outside, then hook me up, because lethargy is no fun at all.

But, the drink mix was NOT tasty. It promises a good taste, but really, it was just a grainy oddly fruity flavored drink. I wouldn’t say ...

it tasted bad, really, but definitely not something I was just eager to get back too. I didn’t have to choke it down or anything, but I wasn’t necessarily looking forward to my next drink and more than I’d typically look forward to a plate of broccoli. I suppose it’s more convenient having the drink mix, and definitely cost effective when you get the same nutrients, but you simply can’t avoid all fruits and veggies, therefore, this drink mix just ends up being an added cost I couldn’t afford.

And, after a couple weeks, though I was feeling slightly more energetic, I figured it wasn’t

any better than I’d feel if I was just eating the types of fruits and veggies that I should be eating on a daily basis anyway, and there was really only the matter of my own inherent laziness to contend with. I saved myself the money next time, since I didn’t really experience any health epiphanies that had me going back for more, and bought some fruits and veggies from a fruit stand down the street, which was cheaper than a grocery store and definitely cheaper than this mix. I can make my own smoothies if it comes down to it. Not really worth the money.
