  • The regular load I paid for will now be zero but with the Unli20, I get to exchange that regular load of 20 into an unlimited amount of texts which is applicable only for 24 hours

I’ve been a Globe subscriber for years now. I just think that out of all the mobile networks here in the Philippines, Globe has the most reliable signal in Metro Manila.

In order for you to be able to send a text message of call someone, your phone needs to have a “load” or credits. And for a student like me, it just seems out of the budget to always buy credits for your phone. However, Globe has been creating

promos to cater to those who want to budget their load and make sure they get the most of it. One of their promos is the Globe Unlimited Text.

The Globe Unlimited Text on-going promo gives the subscriber an option wherein they could convert their regular load to an unlimited load, which means the subscriber can send any number of messages in a specific time. I usually opt for the Unlimited 20 (or Unli20 for short). The regular load I paid for will now be zero but with the Unli20, I get to exchange that regular load of 20 into an unlimited amount of texts which is applicable only for 24 hours. The only downside to this promo is that I can only send a text message to another Globe subscriber, not to other mobile networks. Most of my friends and classmates are Globe subscribers so it’s not really much of a sacrifice. But sometimes I need to contact ...

someone else who are under a different mobile network. If I don’ have any extra regular load, I won’t be able to send them an SMS.

But I really like the Unlimited Texts of Globe because I get to chat via texts with my friends. I get to send them around 100 to 200 text messages with the Unlimited Text program. If it wasn’t for that promo, I would only be able to send 20 text messages with a regular

load. For a student like me who’s always in a budget, more so when it comes to my cellphone’s load, the Unlimited Text is a good option for me because for a cheap amount like P20 (or about $0.45), I get to send a lot of text messages even if it was only for one day. There are other options though beside the Unli20; there are the Unli40 (good for two days) and the Unli80 (good for 8 days).
