South Park likes to be up to date as far as the stories they cover in their episodes, and this episode seems to take it up a notch. The episode revolves around Ike seeing dead celebrities, and the ghost of Michael Jackson possessing him. • episode is just an attempt to gain ratings by being topical.

Everything about the plot is an awful stretch. There is no point of having any of these dead celebrities in the plot, neither is there a point for everyone else involved to seem like they care. The entire plot is designed around the fact that these celebrities died, and they just seemed to write any plot they could

while the topic was still fresh. This creates a story that is instantly forgettable, and one that will have no meaning once people forget that all these celebrities died around the same time.

A plot built around one point never works. It works even less then that point is senseless, and is beaten to a fine powder. this episode is a perfect example of what went wrong with South Park.
