Kids castle cuts is a children’s haircut business in the Portland Metro area. There are very few places to get a child’s haircut here and this is the best place to go. A lot of my friends have tried getting their child’s hair cut at places such as supercuts and jc penny’s but they while they can cut a child’s hair, they are not in the business of doing so and cannot deal with a fussy child like a business that only caters to children can.

At this salon you will not find anything fancy. They are in the basement of a small strip mall.

There is a little parking lot, but you can park on the street. There is pretty much no decor and it does not look like any salon you have ever seen.

The whole place looks thrown together and not stylish at all. What you get here is people who are used to kids and can tolerate crying.

When you walk in you ...

      • do not see a fancy reception desk but you see toys. This place has a great play area in front where your kids can play.

When I go to get my daughter’s hair cut I always show up early so she can play before her cut and get used to the place, I see a lot of other people doing the same thing. If you show up without an appointment, they do take walk ins and you can just let your kids play while you wait.

/> Bottom line, you are paying $17 for a ten minute hair cut. It is an adequate haircut, about what you would get for much less at super cuts or a similar place but these people have fun chairs to sit in and will hand your kid toys if they try to grab the scissors.

They take crying well and have a great attitude. To me it is worth paying extra to skip the drama of going to an adult business.

I do recommend this place to anyone.
