  • I imagine it has been pointed out before, perhaps even on this site, that Terrible's Casino has a name with which the quality of the casino and hotel matches up quite well, unfortunately
  • I think what Terrible's Casino is going for with the atmosphere of its inside is a sort of casual, almost low brow alternative to some of the more expensive casinos and hotels in the area
  • The problem with this atmosphere is that it would be non existent assuming that Terrible's Casino would not take itself too seriously, however as odd as it feels to say, Terrible's Casino takes its lack of seriousness far, far too seriously
  • It simply does not work, and I strongly recommend that you would avoid Terrible's Casino
  • All in all, Terrible's Casino is a place you should probably avoid, lest you become very disappointed and discouraged with Las Vegas in general

I imagine it has been pointed out before, perhaps even on this site, that Terrible’s Casino has a name with which the quality of the casino and hotel matches up quite well, unfortunately. I think what Terrible’s Casino is going for with the atmosphere of its inside is a sort of casual, almost low brow alternative to some of the more expensive casinos and hotels in the area. The problem with this atmosphere is that it would be non existent assuming that Terrible’s Casino would not take itself too seriously, however as odd as it feels to say, Terrible’s Casino

takes its lack of seriousness far, far too seriously. It simply does not work, and I strongly recommend that you would avoid Terrible’s Casino.

First of all, I cannot condemn all two and a half star hotels, nor all two and a half star hotels and casinos. Terrible’s Casino is, simply put, a product of its rating, but the bigger problem is that it is worse than you might think even given its rating. For instance, the service is extremely lackluster. There seems to be two types of employees working at Terrible’s Casino: those who are annoying and overly enthusiastic, probably ...

      • reveling in the alleged atmosphere of Terrible’s Casino as being extremely casual and such, however the other type is a bit harder to deal with: the incompetent ones. There seems to be an abundance of workers at Terrible’s Casino who do not know what the heck they are really doing there, and I find this hard to believe, but it is true.

It is hard for me to think of a true positive when speaking about Terrible’s Casino, but I think the nicest thing anyone could say about it is that it does not have a lot of glaring things wrong

with it other than its lack of service and also its too serious and yet not serious atmosphere. The problem is that everything else is mediocre: the food, the casino, everything. These things are nothing you could not see elsewhere, and I would strongly recommend you go elsewhere, even if you are staying at Terrible’s Casino.

All in all, Terrible’s Casino is a place you should probably avoid, lest you become very disappointed and discouraged with Las Vegas in general. Believe me, there are plenty of casinos other than Terrible’s that you can go to, even in the same area, so do so.
