Sherriff Bo Tully. Awesome character but in real life would so be in jail with his obvious disrespect for the rules. Seriously.

But you know the story is going to be hilarious, and it was. As always Patrick McManus made me fall head over heels for not so conventional Sheriff Bo Tully.

I guess all the women fall for him for a reason! Even some of the men I would gather! But at times he just seems a little too smooth. A little too interesting.

A little too dangerous. It reads like a police procedural book.

Only with law bending tendencies! It was ...

      • one of those someone turns up missing and must be found. It’s a new take on an overused plot bunny.

But don’t read the book for the mystery, because it is simple and easy to figure out. Read it for the humor.

        Which there is plenty of!

        I’ve heard mixed reviews from

fans of Patrick. They don think it’s as funny as his previous short stories.

And some of them find things in the dialog or character development troubling. But I would still say you will enjoy it if you like comedy and police procedure.

And also if you follow the author, because you can still tell its him.
