      Hey Everyone,

So with all the ads on television about different foundations, it is always difficult to find the best one which will suit your needs. With all the foundations I have used, the Maybelline Matte Mousse is by far the best. To begin with, the consistency of the product is amazing.

It is lightless and formulated so that you do not even feel the product on your face. That is why this is

more of a medium coverage, rather than a full.

But for daily usage, it is ideal. There is no need to have a powder brush or any sort of sponge to apply the product.

Personally, the best way to use is with your fingertips. Of course keep in mind to clean your hands before usage.

You don’t want any bacteria to get on your fresh face. Although the product has many positive factors,

      • there are the minor drawbacks.

For instance, if you have dry skin you will have to apply a lot of primer or lotion before hand. That is because without a layering of lotion beneath the mousse, you get flakiness to appear.

If you are going for a natural look, that is definitely not what you want! Not only that, but the shades available aren’t as wide of a variety as I would like.

I myself use porcelain ivory, but depending on the season, I could be a bit lighter or darker.

Therefore, I would recommend purchasing two shades and mixing them if you cannot find the exact match. Overall, this mousse foundation isn’t like any other out there.

It is a bit pricey at about up to $9 but the jar should last you at least a month. For a drugstore product, it couldn’t get better than that.
