The Dollar Tree carries quite a few summer party supplies, and the nine-inch red paper plates are among the supplies. They are made and sold under the Dollar Tree brand and can be found in the party supplies aisle during the summer months. They cost a dollar and twenty come in a pack. Now that’s quite a bit of money for just twenty, especially compared to the paper plates sold at Walgreens for usually around two dollars and fifty cents for almost eighty, and they’re the same size

as these are. Unlike the ones sold at Walgreens though, these are red. Now that might not seem like a big deal or worth the extra money, and perhaps they aren’t, but having red paper plates at a summer get-together as opposed to white plates does enhance the mood and theme of the party, even if just a little. Red is the color of summer, or at least one color that represents the fun, vibrant and hotness pretty well. Having red paper plates, along with red ...

      • plastic utensils and napkins just make the get-together feel a little more festive, that’s all.

As for the strength of the paper plates, they hold multiple pieces of pizza without a problem. They hold sausage and brisket cooked on the grill well too. Corn on the cob is no problem either. In fact, I’d say these are some of the sturdiest paper plates that we’ve come across. What I also like about them is that there’s very little or no soaking through the material that occurs with other thinner

paper plates, including many of the ones sold at Walgreens that are cheaper due to the number that comes in a pack. These are especially important qualities when a little party is being held and people are walking around with food, and these paper plates come through to make sure there are no accidents or messes as a result of insufficiently strong material.

These summer-themed paper plates are worth paying a dollar for and I’m perfectly happy with them. For all the reasons above, I’m rating the plates a “10″.
