      I like pocket size viands which gives you controlled amount as to how much you will take. Just like this recipe that was released by Knorr, this is like Shanghai rolls which allows you to limit your bite by selecting a few sizes of rolls. This recipe gave me a new habit plus this can be a good alternative for your lunch packs for kids especially when they are just at school.

      Ingredients:

      Beef

      1/4 cup


      Corn oil 5 tbsp each of minced garlic and onions 300g ground beef 100g carros, small dice 1 sachet Knorr seasoning 2 tsp Cumin Powder 1 tsp Chili powder 5-6 pcs. Lumpia wrapper 1/2 cup Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise

      Rice

      1/4 cup atsuete oil 1/4 cup garlic 3 cups cooked rice 1 sachet Knorr Seasoning 3 fried egg 3 plantains, sliced lengthwise and fried

      • the ground beef and carrots. Season with 1 sachet Knorr seasoning and add the cumin and chili powder. Set aside and let it cool. Place about 2-3 tbsp of the mixture onto the center of the lumpia wrapper. Top with 1tbsp Lady’s Choice Mayonnaise. Fold sides of the wrapper over the meat mixture to make a square. Seal with egg wash. Bake lumpia in a pre-heated oven (350F) or a toaster oven. (
        5 minutes low then 2 minutes high). In another wok, heat atsuete oil and add the garlic. Add the cooked rice and season with Knorr Real Sarap. Set aside. To assemble the dish: Place a cup of fried on a serving plate. Top the rice with fried egg. Arrange the Cubana pockets on the side together with the fried plantains.

        This recipe is tasty, light and ideal for a moderate meal. I like that this one uses ground beef plus this has cubed carrots which makes it more healthy.
