  • When I want a delicious cheese pizza that actually tastes like it has more than one kind of cheese topping, I go with the Marketside pizza

This is a Walmart brand product that can only be found at Walmart. The pizza is very similar to the DiGiorno Four Cheese pizza in both the kinds and number of cheeses used and the crust being of the rising variety. It’s cheaper than the DiGiorno brand though by about fifty cents, making it around four dollars and something in change.

I only purchased it once and it was a while ago, but I recall thinking

how it didn’t quite taste as good as the Five Cheese pizza that Walmart sells in their deli section. That pizza had a richer cheese flavor and the variety of cheeses used were more varied, so three of the five cheeses really stood out with unique flavors where as with this pizza, the four cheeses just sort of blended together and did not retain their individual flavors.

As for the quality of this pizza, it wasn’t ...

      • bad, just not exceptional. The pizza sauce was pretty plain and lacked any sort of zing or zest to it.

The crust was alright and was easy to bite into. It was about average in thickness.

It wasn’t overly thick and it also wasn’t real thin, either. The four cheeses, mozzarella, Romano, Asiago and Parmesan, gave this pizza a good cheese flavor, but really, the mozzarella is what I tasted the most of.

        I’m sure though

the other cheeses contributed to the cheesiness of the pizza. Still, as I said, Walmart’s Marketside Five Cheese pizza, while pricier, is superior when it comes to the number and flavor of the cheese toppings.

When I want a delicious cheese pizza that actually tastes like it has more than one kind of cheese topping, I go with the Marketside pizza. This one is good, but not remarkably special.

        That’s why I’m rating this pizza a “7″.
