  • I started using sleeping aids like sleeping pills about five years ago, and have always been incredibly careful to use a different kind almost each time, or to find several that I like most and rotate between them, going one week taking them and three weeks not taking them, because I hate the idea of the possible dependancy that taking a sleeping pill can cause
  • I found Sleep 9 to 6 Sleep Support Shot and thought it was a pretty creative idea
  • But I fell back to sleep without much hassle and didn't really toss and turn as far as I know, which is a good thing, because usually I'm pretty aware of every single time I turn over in bed
  • On the seventh night I actually noticed that I didn't even need the drink, and just fell right to sleep within a matter of an hour, which is close to a record for me

It’s quite a mouthful in the name of this product, but I got it mostly because I’ve tried everything else on the market, and it seems a lot of these sleeping aids simply lose their effectiveness after a while. I’ve been diagnosed with delayed sleep disorder, so it takes me a really long time to fall asleep and I usually can’t stay asleep for more than an hour at a time. This can be more than problematic around day seven or eight of no real sleep, because I end up being horribly crabby and unbearable to live with. I started using sleeping aids like sleeping pills about five years ago, and have always been incredibly careful to use a different kind almost each time, or to find several that I like most and rotate between them, going one week taking them and three weeks not taking them, because I hate the idea of

the possible dependancy that taking a sleeping pill can cause. I even looked and used all natural sleep aids which have their benefits as well.

I found Sleep 9 to 6 Sleep Support Shot and thought it was a pretty creative idea. I liked that it was a liquid “shot” and was berry flavored, though the flavoring could use a little help. Still tasted pretty medicinal in a way, though not nearly quite as gross or disturbing as a cough syrup and it certainly didn’t leave that bad of a taste in my mouth for the length of time a cough syrup would have. The $14 package comes with six small bottles and you’re supposed to drink a whole bottle before bed, or a half a bottle for a lessened effect. Since I have such a high tolerance for medications and it takes a lot to effect me, I went ahead and took the ...

      • whole bottle. It almost tasted like an energy fruit drink, which I’m not a fan of, so the taste of these didn’t appeal to me. But, they also werent unbearable to me at all, which the important thing to note, because I’m way more picky about taste than a lot of people.

I took the “shot” and was surprised when it started working within a half an hour, since most sleep aids take about an hour before I feel the first effects of them. I was worried that I really would sleep 9 -6 which seemed an awful long time to me, especially in relation to my normal sleeping schedule. And I came pretty close to that. I got a solid eight hours of sleep in, without much tossing and turning though I did get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom since I’d essentially have a bottle of fluid

before bed. But I fell back to sleep without much hassle and didn’t really toss and turn as far as I know, which is a good thing, because usually I’m pretty aware of every single time I turn over in bed.

I got a good night rest, and was able to refridgerate the rest of the drinks. I used a single bottle each night for the six nights and got a good nights rest all six of those nights. On the seventh night I actually noticed that I didn’t even need the drink, and just fell right to sleep within a matter of an hour, which is close to a record for me. I kept to that pattern for a good two weeks before I started experiencing some night-time restlessness. Good product. Pretty pricey and I’m not sure it’s worth an additional purchase, but it was fun to try out something new, especially in a drink form.
