  • I found exactly what I was looking for, called Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller, which claimed to not just de-puff, but also hydrates and reduce the appearance of wrinkles
  • The last claim is always on all anti-aging products, and they rarely are true, but the idea of having a roller that would also hydrate intrigued me enough to pay the pricy cost of $19.99
  • I was a bit worried about this, because I know that the skin under the eyes is very thin and sensitive, and I was concerned that this would actually increase the puffiness
  • However, the fact that it doesn’t absorb well is an issue
  • I can only recommend Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller if you are after a cooling sensation and want to massage the skin under your eyes without irritation or a drying effect

I have tried two different eye roller products that claim to make your under-eye area look less puffy, dark and tired. I have found that they have a limited effect on my tired, swollen eyes; they certainly have a cooling effect, but that only lasts briefly. It is a nice pick-me-up in the morning, but they don’t help bringing down the swelling or puffiness, and it can actually make my under-eye area feel tight and dry. I never really believed that these rollers would actually have any lasting benefit, but I did hope for a little anti-puff action. I still like the cooling feeling, but the rollers I tried, by Garnier,

were pretty expensive for just a temporary cooling effect. The last time I went to the US on a shopping trip, I wanted to look for a different eye roller product, because my husband really likes them, but I was determined to look for a product that didn’t dry out the skin under my eyes. I found exactly what I was looking for, called Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller, which claimed to not just de-puff, but also hydrates and reduce the appearance of wrinkles. When I returned from my trip, I tried all my purchases out, and tried the roller in the morning. Like the other rollers I have tried, there is an immediate cooling sensation. Unlike the other rollers, though, this one has three small rollers on the end, and you are supposed to, according to the directions, gently massage this roller under the eyes. I was a bit worried about this, because I know that the skin under the eyes is very thin and sensitive, and I was concerned that this would actually increase the puffiness. I massaged very gently, and waited for any reactions. First ...

of all, other than the cooling effect, it did not make the skin feel tight, which is a good thing, even after massaging. But the substance that comes out when you massage didn’t absorb right away, like the other rollers did. It sort of stayed on top of my skin. I was a bit concerned as to how to apply makeup. I put on my light daily moisturizer all over my face and sort of massaged and blended the roller cream into my face as I went along. The cooling sensation went away, and while my under-eye area felt good, not at all tight and dry, it would have remained a
bit difficult to apply makeup if I hadn’t blended it in. After several days, my under-eye area did feel smooth, but I didn’t notice any difference except for a slight cooling and a bit of a less puffy appearance on those mornings when I am noticeably swollen and puffy. However, the fact that it doesn’t absorb well is an issue.

I can only recommend Olay Regenerist Anti-Aging Eye Roller if you are after a cooling sensation and want to massage the skin under your eyes without irritation or a drying effect. It doesn’t absorb too well, and while it does hydrate a bit, the appearance of lines and wrinkles has not been reduced for me.
