  • I had never tried a spray self tanner before, and I had never really like the Sally Hansen brand of makeup or cosmetics, because I found them quite cheap
  • I decided that I would need to find a body self tanner or bronzer of some sort, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and I needed to find something fast
  • I saw that this product sprays upside down, which I was happy about, since I had visions of the contortions I would have to go through to get all over my ankles and other hard-to-reach areas
  • That was a bit difficult, but it was definitely easier being able to spray upside down
  • I would recommend Sally Hansen Airbrush Sun For Body for the following reasons

I had never tried a spray self tanner before, and I had never really like the Sally Hansen brand of makeup or cosmetics, because I found them quite cheap. However, I was going out to an event during a sudden and surprising heat wave, and my arms and legs were ridiculously white, embarrassingly so. I decided that I would need to find a body self tanner or bronzer of some sort, but I didn’t want to spend a lot of money and I needed to find something fast. I went to my local drugstore and found Sally Hansen Airbrush Sun For Body aerosol spray for just $12, and I decided to try it. I was extremely skeptical about a spray from this brand, but

I needed some colour fast. I had no idea how to apply it to look natural, but was willing to try this for that price.

I took the spray can home and read the directions. I saw that this product sprays upside down, which I was happy about, since I had visions of the contortions I would have to go through to get all over my ankles and other hard-to-reach areas. I exfoliated in the shower, as directed, and then dried off. I got back in the shower, as I was worried about staining my bathroom, and held the spray can 6 inches from my skin and used horizontal strokes, as evenly as I could. That was a bit difficult, but it was definitely ...

      • easier being able to spray upside down. The instructions said to wait ten minutes for the product to dry, and I waited 15 minutes because I was paranoid about staining clothing, as this has happened before. I hoped that my arms and legs would at least remain tanned looking for the night, although it supposedly lasts for several days. I also workout every day, so my experience with self tanners was that they lasted about half the time they were supposed to. I was quite surprised that there were no noticeable streaks after this spray dried, especially since this was my first time. The slight chemical scent disappeared quite quickly as well. The tan was even quite natural looking as well, not the ugly
orange that looks so terrible. That night, I was able to wear a skirt and short sleeves without feeling like a ghost, and there was no staining on my clothes. It lasted about 3 days, and even as it faded slightly, it didn’t look bad. It also didn’t irritate my skin, except I did notice a slight irritation on my very sensitive chest area, but it only lasted a short time. Overall, I was impressed for such an inexpensive product.

I would recommend Sally Hansen Airbrush Sun For Body for the following reasons: It is inexpensive, it is a spray, so your hands don’t get stained applying it, it sprays upside down, so it is easier to apply, it lasts several days, and it gives a natural-looking colour.
