  • Don't get me wrong I like Van Halen and I still enjoyed watching this bootleg concert that was filmed professionally but never made it to stores, but the band had a little too much too drink before they went on
  • I thought the only two people of the band that actually played correctly was the Rhythmn section
  • Eddie Van Halen was amazing in some parts but the majority of the playing he does is sloppier than usual
  • I really enjoyed the bands stage presence though as drunk as they were, they can still groove on stage and have a fun time

The US Festival in San Bernadino California was a music event sponsored by Steve Wozniak of apple it started on labor day weekend of 1982 then started again on memorial day 1983. One of the big days of the event was e heavy metal day which featured the Scorpions,Motley Crue,Ozzy,Triumph,Quiet Riot,Judas Priest and perhaps the

worst band that night and they headlined.

      That band was Van Halen.

Eddie Van Halen was amazing in some parts but the majority of the playing he does is sloppier than usual.

The worst part of the show was Davids singing.

He stumbles on lyrics, forgets the lyrics and because of the jack

daniels that he induced before and during the show, his singing was worse than usual.

I really enjoyed the bands stage presence though as drunk as they were, they can still groove on stage and have a fun time.

Not a good performance but it’s probably one of the only early van halen live dvds in the early 80s.
