  • I want the stress that the reputation and the hype of that record is certainly within reason, that entire album is just brilliant and Like A Rolling Stone is one of the better songs from that record in my opinion, and also one of the more well-known ones
  • Although the tone of the track is not exactly that dark and it’s actually pretty up-beat, the lyrics of the song are quite condemning of a certain individual and their lifestyle, Dylan makes his opinions extremely blunt and clear on this track and it goes without saying that the lyrics to this track, along with every song on this record, are just excellent poetry from what I would consider to be the greatest lyricist who I have ever heard

Like A Rolling Stone, is a track which appears on the record which is considered to be Bob Dylan’s best throughout his entire career and also one of the greatest records in the history of rock and roll, Highway 61 Revisited. I will say that the song is slightly long without any real musical breaks or extended sections but
Bob Dylan’s lyrical talents make up for this on this song and just about every other one of his songs which I’ve listened to. When listening to Bob Dylan, the lyrics are really what do it for me, although the music also bad at all, it just doesn’t exactly strike me as a driving factor in most of his songs, with exceptions of course.
