      Columbo fans everywhere were delighted when Universal released the Columbo: The Complete Second Season DVD set. This set is put together differently from the first season one, which is a bit nicer in my estimation.

      There are just four DVDs required for

      the set, since there were fewer episodes to be included. Two DVD cases slip inside the box holder, which is nicely done. It is pretty much like the first season one, so there is continuity there.

      The two cases each house two DVDs. They both have individual slots for the DVDs to remain secured. Unlike the first season, the DVDs don’t have the wonderful artwork and photographs of Peter Falk as Columbo. They aren’t plain, either, but it’s more or ...

      less a sketch of a body with the name of the show. The cases also have those little flip buttons that you have to open in order to access the cases. I do like the nice blue cover and photos
      of Falk that are on the cases.

      The shows themselves are great. There are many guest stars worth watching, and there’s the introduction of Columbo’s basset hound dog.

      Unfortunately, there aren’t any extras, but the series Columbo itself is worth the price of the set.
