  • The pork fried rice wasn’t bad and the crab lagoon tasted so awesome and the chicken fingers were also pretty good but the best food this place had was the spare ribs and the sauce tasted so freaking good
  • This place was opened often and I never had a problem with the hours they were operating under
  • I had to exchange silverware on at least two occasions but they had no issue with doing that for me
  • I also recommend that you get any kind of tea from this place because it actually tasted pretty good, I had a few of their teas and they all taste great trust me on that

This Chinese restaurant is located in Springfield and there are a few things that could have made this place a lot better but there are also a few things that I loved about this place that kept me coming back multiple times. The first thing that sucked about this place was that I always had to park on the street because they didn’t have a parking lot and this really sucked at times because I was left feeling like my car was going to get side swiped. I use to go to this place often for dinner and the one thing that always surprised me about this place was how fast I was able to get a seat. I have been to this place many times and I never remember waiting at all and these people

who work there were quick to get me a seat. The layout of the place wasn’t that bad and there were more than enough seats to sit at. What blew my mind even more about this place was the cheap booze and cheap food. The bottled beer here was not bad tasting but it could have tasted a little colder but the food was awesome here. The pork fried rice wasn’t bad and the crab lagoon tasted so awesome and the chicken fingers were also pretty good but the best food this place had was the spare ribs and the sauce tasted so freaking good. The fortune cookies even tasted good and freshly made and they were sweet tasting, more so than a lot of other Chinese places in that area.

The wait staff who worked here were ...

      • awesome and always friendly. They always made sure m soda was refilled and if I needed anything but one thing I did not like was the fact that they often kept coming back to the table and asking if I needed something. They did this way too much to the point where I started to get annoyed quite often. The cooks who worked at this place were great and always cooked everything just right and the way they were suppose to be cooked. This place was opened often and I never had a problem with the hours they were operating under. The place was a little on the filth side and the tables and silverware could have both been a tad cleaner and this kind of grossed me out. I had to exchange silverware on at least
two occasions but they had no issue with doing that for me. The bathrooms were also too small for my liking but the overall environment at this place was quiet and relaxing and it was a good place to eat at. I also recommend that you get any kind of tea from this place because it actually tasted pretty good, I had a few of their teas and they all taste great trust me on that.

The Peacock really is a good Chinese food place with good food, good clientele, a slow but steady paced environment, good people who work there, good tasting beer but just beware of the silverware because they can be dirty at times but other than that you should make your way down to this place and enjoy some good food at some very good prices.
