  • I love my Burts Bees products, and just the name of this one, Burt's Bees Line Smoothing Eye Creme with Pomegranate & Magnolia, was enough to have me scrambling to try it
  • That's still young, granted, but I can tell you that my mid-thirties friends are starting to sport their own lines and wrinkles themselves, so I know I can count myself lucky on that note
  • And though my experience with Burts Bees products has been a bit hit and miss over the years, I've still always enjoyed trying them out even if they don't always do what they claim
  • I think the thing I like the most about Burts Bees products is that they are all natural and use ingredients that usually smell and feel great on the skin
  • This is definitely an excellent product and definitely worth every penny

I love my Burts Bees products, and just the name of this one, Burt’s Bees Line Smoothing Eye Creme with Pomegranate & Magnolia, was enough to have me scrambling to try it. I usually go for the eye creams that are designed to reduce the appearance of circles, and not focus so much on fine lines and wrinkles. I have very oily skin, and have had oily skin my whole life, so that has saved me from the appearance of lines so far, and I’m in my mid-thirties right now. That’s still young, granted, but I can tell you that my mid-thirties friends are starting to sport their own lines and wrinkles themselves, so I know I can count myself lucky on that note. However, with that said, I still see a big of aging in the sagging skin around my eyes. They may not be wrinkled looking, but they aren’t exactly equivalant to a spry spring chicken anymore, if you catch my drift. And

though my experience with Burts Bees products has been a bit hit and miss over the years, I’ve still always enjoyed trying them out even if they don’t always do what they claim.

I think the thing I like the most about Burts Bees products is that they are all natural and use ingredients that usually smell and feel great on the skin. I’ve tried products with pomegranate in the past, and always liked the smell of it more than anything else, so that was reason enough, as far as I was concerned, to drop the $25 on this product. And, considering how expensive Burts Bees usually is, this is a cheap price in comparison to other eye brightening and wrinkle reducing creams on the market. I was impressed they finally put something out there more affordable than other name brand products on the market. And this product may say suggest with its name that it’s only for wrinkles, but it can actually be used ...

      • to treat dark circles and puffiness as well, both of which WERE problems I had to deal with on a daily basis.

The directions were pretty simple and made the product easy to use. I just pat it on the brow bone and under the eye every morning after washing and drying. The product immediately felt wonderful on the skin. A lot of these products for the eyes will use ingredients that tingle and cool, so as to “wake” the eyes up, but this didn’t need to tingle and cool to feel great and feel like it’s working. Within twenty minutes, I was walking around bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and ready for my day. Having my eyes feel rejuvenated actually helped make ME feel rejuvenated, and I have to say that’s rarely happened with an eye cream before. Who knew that using the product for one reason would help with a variety of other problems.

And, not only did it perk up the eyes, reduce the

puffiness and the circles (and more prominently than I had expected), and give me a more alert appearance, but it simply smelled fantastic. It was like wearing a perfume without actually wearing a perfume. I had people compliment me on the scent I was wearing, so it was definitely noticeable, though not over the top by any stretch of the imagination. I only wish the scent lasted longer than the couple hours it lasted. Then it would REALLY be worth the price I paid for the product. It smelled fruity, but not like a bad air freshener. There was also a woodsy kind of undertone to it that evened out the fruit smell very nicely, and perhaps that had something to do with the horse chestnut and para cress plant ingredients in it as well. This is definitely an excellent product and definitely worth every penny. I used up my container and went back for another one. Be wary, however… it’s a difficult one to find.
