Tap Tap Revenge 3 is an iTouch/iPhone game application. It’s similar to Dance Dance Revolution, the difference being that in Tap Tap, players tap their screens on the tap zone instead of using their feet. It’s free for download, although many of the songs that are available must be paid for. They also have a collection of songs that are free to download, though songs by popular artists are usually not included within that collection.

      The game

is very fun and addicting, and is a great way to test your own dexterity. I especially like how there are different themes for some music labels and bands, so that I don’t have to stare at the same old default Tap Tap Revenge theme all the time. The game itself doesn’t vary too much in gameplay, but it’s interesting to try and tap on the beat all the time. There are four difficulty modes: Easy, Medium,

      • Hard, and Extreme. The first two difficulty modes were rather too easy to progress through for me, which was somewhat of a disappointment.

There are very few default songs available, but many more are available for download via the Tap Tap Store. There are some free tracks, but the majority of songs require a fee to play. Usually songs by rising and lesser known artists are available for free, while more popular artists release

at the most a sample from one of their more popular songs.

Tap Tap Revenge is a very fun game that takes a long while to be exhausted, as there is a lot to play through. I could probably spend many days playing the same old song over and over if I really wanted to perfect my technique on it. I am highly impressed by this game and would give it four and a half stars out of five.
