  • I found the Intex Jungle Hideaway and it was a really cute looking pool
  • I decided that the pool was more trouble than it was worth so I ended up bringing it back for a refund
  • I know it was inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for
  • I would not recommend this product, even though it's a cute idea and it looks great on the box, it's really a waste of money and will just leave you frustrated in the end

We already have a pool in the backyard, but I was recently looking for something smaller like a kids pool for the 2 little ones that I watch. They are 6 moths old and 1 year old, so they are not old enough to go into the big pool with the older kids. I found the Intex Jungle Hideaway and it was a really cute looking pool. I also liked the Intex brand, and that is the same brand as the other pool we have and we have been happy with the construction and quality of it. I was also happy with the price of the Intex Jungle Hideaway Pool for about $25.

The pool is inflatable and has attached columns that support a “roof” over the top

of the pool so that the babies can have some shade. The pool is really cute with a a jungle themes, so the columns are shaped like tree trunks and the roof is shapes like palm tree branches and leaves. The concept and idea of the pool is a good one, but the first time I set it up, it had a leak in it and kept deflating. I never did find the leak, so I brought it back to the store and exchanged it for a new one.

This time I got it set up with no problems, and it didn’t seem to have a leak anywhere, but I found that the top of the product was too heavy for the columns to support and it kept drooping,

      • and pretty soon it was practically touching the baby’s head. I had to keep re-inflating it to get it to properly stand up. When it is fully inflated, it works fine and the babies have fun playing in the water, but it becomes tiresome to have to continue to add more air all the time just to keep the top part from drooping. I only gave baby a few minutes of play time before it was time to add more air again. It was poor quality and cheap looking and wasn’t attractive in my yard either. The picture on the box is cute, but once you get it up it looks cheap.

After we had spent an afternoon playing in the pool, I filled it with air one more

time. The next day it was completely collapsed. I decided that the pool was more trouble than it was worth so I ended up bringing it back for a refund. I know it was inexpensive, so I guess you get what you pay for. I am now looking for another pool that will hopefully last and do what it’s supposed to. I would not recommend this product, even though it’s a cute idea and it looks great on the box, it’s really a waste of money and will just leave you frustrated in the end. You would be better off spending a little more money on something that was better quality and that you could actually use. This product simply doesn’t hold up
