I will first start with the positive and say that the acting and the script was done quite well in my opinion
Another thing I want to add is that this film honestly didn’t strike me as being totally revolved around Jack Sparrow, Depp’s character, which I personally liked a lot because it gave the actors and actress playing Turner, Swan, and Barbosa a chance to shine, this isn't to say that Depp isn't outstanding though as I believe he is as a matter of fact
These two flaws aside, I thought this film stood up nicely against the previous two and isn’t bad by any means
Pirates Of The Caribbean III: At World’s End continues the story of Jack Sparrow, William Turner, Elizabeth Swan, and Captain Barbosa as the plot centers around the conflict between pirates and The East India Trading Company who is trying to destroy piracy, with the aid of Davy Jones. I will first start with the positive and say that the acting and the script was done quite well in
my opinion. Each of the actors who I named above did a fantastic job in their respective roles, meaning Depp wasn’t the total star of this film, and the script had some nice humor throughout it as well. Another thing I want to add is that this film honestly didn’t strike me as being totally revolved around Jack Sparrow, Depp’s character, which I personally liked a lot because ...
it gave the actors and actress playing Turner, Swan, and Barbosa a chance to shine, this isn’t to say that Depp isn’t outstanding though as I believe he is as a matter of fact. Now my major complaint against this
film, which I believe is quite a common complaint regarding this movie, is that the plot is actually pretty layered to be following throughout a three hour,
or two hours and forty-five minutes rather, film. For a film which is a Disney film and primarily aimed at a younger audience, although not to any large extent, the plot I’m sure goes over a lot of people’s heads and the length itself is simply overwhelming in my opinion. These two flaws aside, I thought this film stood up nicely against the previous two and isn’t bad by any means.
