      Again from the MGM Hotel in Las Vegas, The Dean Martin Celebrity Roast honored another celebrity, that being Jack Klugman who starred in The Odd Couple and later Quincy M.E.

      Overall, I was disappointed with this outing for the roast show. I didn’t feel like there was much

      of a connection between Klugman and the dais celebrities. It was more like a comedy hour. Not all of that was bad. Don Rickles is always funny to listen to, for example, and Milton Berle was a gem.

      Even Tony Randall was a bit of a letdown in this respect. His bit was too brief. He and Klugman had a great friendship, and there should have been more there to beef up the roast. Actually, there is a roast that I haven’t been able to re-watch that roasted both Klugman and ...
