  • The screen has the same capabilities as that of the iphone, so you can drag and zoom and do all those sorts of things without having to be concerned about flipping open to a keyboard, etc. The phone is also just about the same size as the iphone but comes with a few more interesting features, the 8MP camera, android operating system, and of course it is only offered on Sprint's network for now
  • I just can't ignore the sexiness of the device and I think Sprint's silly and proprietary network crap could make somewhat of a mockery of that

So… want to see what a 4G phone will be like? This is the first of its kind and it really is quite a stunner. No one can get their hands on it yet, but you can find quite a bit of info out there on the web if you dig around.

The basics: It has a huge multi-touch screen, so big that it even has a little kickstand so you can set it up on your desk to watch TV or other media and not have to hold it at just the right angle. I am no huge fan of watching anything on

a screen the size of an iphone, but in a pinch, I am sure it would be nice to have this option. The screen has the same capabilities as that of the iphone, so you can drag and zoom and do all those sorts of things without having to be concerned about flipping open to a keyboard, etc.

The phone is also just about the same size as the iphone but comes with a few more interesting features, the 8MP camera, android operating system, and of course it is only offered on Sprint’s network for now.

This is one of the big sticking points for me as I hate ...

      • being tied to a network for the life of the device. If you can’t take the thing to Europe with you and throw another GSM chip in it so you can use it without running up huge charges, that is kind of lame considering the fact that you have to be at least sort of the jet-set variety to carry around a beast like this. Am I right?

I just can’t ignore the sexiness of the device and I think Sprint’s silly and proprietary network crap could make somewhat of a mockery of that. It is like having a brand new Ferrari with the engine of

a Toyota corolla. Both are great but they have their places and mixing the two is not going to work out happily. Of course having a Ferrari that accelerates uncontrollably would also be a terrible thing so…

Back to the phone. This could be the final piece of the puzzle with its 4G capability so it will be interesting to see how it all starts to play out. I can only imagine that it will be pricey even with a large discount for getting a two year agreement with it.

But it looks mega cool so it will be hard to keep your hands off of it.
