  • Upon boarding the aircraft or Pov-Star (as i call it) i instantly noticed the amount of mothers with children, now i don't have anything against kids, don't get me wrong
  • Jet-Star also don't provide you with food which was the major let down, now i know that airline food isn't the best, but some food is always appreciated, on the three hour trip
  • So i would have to rate my Jet-Star traveling experience a 4/10
  • However Jet-Star does have its 'pluses', if you are only looking at a short flight, say Sydney to Queensland, i would recommend it, because it does boast low cost, which is true, but i warn you, you do get what you pay for

I have recently returned from NZ and i live in Australia. I flew Jet-star over there, and am regretting every minute of it. Upon boarding the aircraft or “Pov-Star”(as i call it) i instantly noticed the amount of mothers with children, now i don’t have anything against kids, don’t get me wrong. But a dozen or so young kids screaming and yelling isn’t

      really my thing.

Trying to ignore the kids i sat in my seat, which wasn’t the comfiest. I was able to move my seat back a bit, but not too far. After about 20mins of the plane taking off i slowly started to drift off to sleep. RARARARARARARAAARRAARA!!, i couldn’t believe it, the kids had started up again, (i was flying economic class, but ...

      • i flew Qantas back, and it was so much better). Jet-Star also don’t provide you with food which was the major let down, now i know that airline food isn’t the best, but some food is always appreciated, on the three hour trip.

So i would have to rate my Jet-Star traveling experience a 4/10. However Jet-Star does have its ‘pluses’, if you are

only looking at a short flight, say Sydney to Queensland, i would recommend it, because it does boast low cost, which is true, but i warn you, you do get what you pay for. So for a short trip i give it the thumbs up, but for longer trips, three hours plus, i wouldn’t recommend. All in all i would give Jet-Star 6/10.
