  • I don't really wear foundation that often because I feel like my face doesn't really need the coverage, and I can do just fine with a bit of concealer to cover up my problem areas
  • I don't think it's too liquidy and watery, but it isn't super thick either
  • Like I said earlier, most foundations tend to make my skin look cakey, and I don't really need the extra coverage most of the time, so I prefer medium or light coverage
  • I think this foundation is a light-medium coverage, probably not good for people who want to cover up a lot of problem spots or just feel better with a better coverage foundation
  • Sure, it doesn't give the best coverage, but I don't really need it

I don’t really wear foundation that often because I feel like my face doesn’t really need the coverage, and I can do just fine with a bit of concealer to cover up my problem areas. When I apply foundation, it seems to be a little cakey looking on my skin, even when I only use a tiny bit. Also, if I do have some acne or bumps on my skin, the foundation just seems to make the texture more obvious. However, on days when I just don’t feel like concealer and powder is enough, I just grab one of the very few foundations that I own. I only own like two foundations because 90% of the year, I never wear it, so I don’t feel the need to spend a lot of money of foundations.

The foundation that I use the most is just a Vital Radiance Line Softening Makeup, and I don’t know where I got this from. It’s pretty old, and I should

probably throw this out, but it hasn’t caused me any problems so far, so I don’t feel like wasting it. My mom actually gave this to me, because the color didn’t really match here. It’s a little light for me, but I find that if I blend some powder over it, then it will look okay on my skin. I like the consistency. I don’t think it’s too liquidy and watery, but it isn’t super thick either. Like I said earlier, most foundations tend to make my skin look cakey, and I don’t really need the extra coverage most of the time, so I prefer medium or light coverage. I think this foundation is a light-medium coverage, probably not good for people who want to cover up a lot of problem spots or just feel better with a better coverage foundation. However, I don’t really want that, I’m perfectly fine with a light coverage foundation or a tinted moisturizer, so I like this consistency ...

      • and coverage. That’s just my personal preference. I think that this is more of a tinted moisturizer or concealer than a foundation just because the coverage isn’t very heavy.

I think this foundation is really easy to blend into my skin. Like I said earlier, this is a little too light for my skin, but since it’s so easy to blend, I find that I can blend this into my normal skin and top it with a powder, and it will still look pretty good. I usually am lazy so I just use my fingers (washed, of course!) and spread the Vital Radiance foundation all over my face. This is supposed to have SPF 15 which is always good, especially during the summer when I am going to be outside a lot and exposed to harmful UVA/UVB rays. Also, this claims to be rehydrating, which I haven’t really noticed, but my skin doesn’t really dry out with this foundation, so maybe it’s the extra

moisture a liquid foundation gives me.

Overall, I think this is a pretty good foundation for the price. I am not really willing to pay $30 on a department brand foundation when I can find a decent one like Vital Radiance. Sure, it doesn’t give the best coverage, but I don’t really need it. To me, I guess this is more of a tinted foundation, so depending on your preference, this would be a nice foundation to try (maybe better if you’re younger and don’t really need to wear a full coverage foundation). It comes in a tube and has a pump where you can squirt the foundation out, so I think that’s very helpful. You could actually easily bring this in a makeup bag because it has a lid and is in a tube, so it would be easy to travel with and wouldn’t take up a lot of space. I think this is a decent foundation for times when I feel like wearing foundation.
