  • One of the 2010 releases that I bought early this year
  • I wanted a more comforting fragrance for this year and given that this was a floral scent, I thought I would love to have this
  • I like the subtlety in the color, it was barely yellow, then the transparent bottle with so many complicated carvings on it
  • There are hints of bitterness that I noticed after spraying it for how many seconds but the good thing is that it blends easily with the rest of the floral notes

One of the 2010 releases that I bought early this year. I wanted a more comforting fragrance for this year and given that this was a floral scent, I thought I would love to have this. The bottle is shaped uniquely, I would say there was a modern twist to it yet still manifesting a bit of old fashion Paris. I like the subtlety in the color, it was barely yellow, then the transparent bottle with so many complicated carvings on it. There was simplicity and glamour in the bottle. There were two

choices I have early this year however since the other brand is not currently out so I ended up with this perfume.

The opening of the scent was fresh with citrus flavor. Hints of basil were noticeable but mostly lemon and tangerine were what I have encountered. Then the heart has rose and ylang ylang for the the floral smell. I loved this part very subtle and it was like airing out femininity little by little. Then you have musk, ambrette seed and tonka bean for the base notes. There are hints ...

      • of bitterness that I noticed after spraying it for how many seconds but the good thing is that it blends easily with the rest of the floral notes. The end result is still floral and it was calm and has this fresh interactive twist for a modern scent.

I like this perfume even if it has a common bearing. In the notes, there are only ylang ylang and rose for the floral characteristics however because of the bitter dry down, I would attribute that to tonka bean, it gives of a different

tonality for a floral smell. I find it dynamic because the smell even if it remained floral after dry down, it is still different. In the surface you can compliment it as rose but deep in the back of that facet lies the beauty of rose which is beautiful plus sprinkles of ylang ylang. It was like having a bait and then switching it to something beautiful. I did not find the floral pick cliche but rather something dimly old fashion. It has a very good combination of tonka bean in making it more unique.
