Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida
  • The moose heads are in the theater are far more creepy than funny, as they blink every 10 minutes or so
  • I remember going on this ride as a child in the 90’s and thinking that I wanted this 15 minutes of my life back
  • However, unless you are under the age of 5, deaf, or high the Country Bear Jamboree should be avoided
  • The Country Bear Jamboree might have been one of Walt Disney’s favorite shows, but 50 years later this show if far worse than most shows you would find at your local Chucky Cheese

The Country Bear Jamboree is located within Frontierland at the Magic Kingdom. The attraction consists of a 16 minute show comprised of singing Audio-Animatronic bears performing country songs. Also, there are 3 moose heads mounted on the wall of the theater that act as the peanut gallery through out the show. Of all the attractions at Walt Disney World the Country Bear Jamboree is by far the most outdated.

This show overstayed its welcome in 1995 as it

seems that Disney has done nothing to update it or at least improve it. The Animatronics are a poor effort on the part of Disney as they look worse then what you would find at Chucky Cheese. The moose heads are in the theater are far more creepy than funny, as they blink every 10 minutes or so. With the performance being set in the 1880’s, unless you are from that time, you will have a hard time relating ...

      • or finding the music entertaining.

I remember going on this ride as a child in the 90’s and thinking that I wanted this 15 minutes of my life back. When I went on it again recently, nothing had changed, it was still the same bad show with the same poorly done bears singing at me. The only redeeming quality about this attraction was that most of the younger children in the audience loved it, with some even singing along to the

songs. However, unless you are under the age of 5, deaf, or high the Country Bear Jamboree should be avoided. If you have to sit though the show try sitting towards the back as it is harder to hear and you can daydream without to much distraction. The Country Bear Jamboree might have been one of Walt Disney’s favorite shows, but 50 years later this show if far worse than most shows you would find at your local Chucky Cheese.
