Cafe Lucci is one of the best place for wine and Italian food in the North Shore area. I have ate at this restaurant almost 100 times and have never been disappointed.

The restaurant starts with the great service. Every time I have been to Cafe Lucci the wait staff has been intelligent, helpful, and attentive. The waiters are truly professionals as they know the perfect times to come.

They will be attentive, but not overbearing. Cafe Lucci keeping with the Italian style likes to stretch out your meal but never will it seem like you have been waiting too long.

The wine list at Cafe Lucci is quite amazing. They have been a Wine Spectator Award winner in the past. The owner of the restaurant, Bobby, acts as the wine sommelier, and always has a great suggestion.

      • The wine list is extensive but there are plenty of wines for any price range or pallet.

The menu at Cafe Lucci offers a wide range of Italian style food. My suggestion when dining at the restaurant would be to stay away from the pasta and stick to the fish, chicken or steak. Lucci has some of the best cuts of meat I have ever had. Not only do they have

daily specials that never seem to be the same twice, but they will prepare your meal any way you like it without ever lifting a finger. Couple all this with outstanding salads(their Caesar is my favorite), appetizers, and deserts and you have a menu that is second to none.

If you are around the Chicago area, especially north of the city, you should try Cafe Lucci for dinner. Good chance I will see you there.
