Tokyo Majin Episode 2 shows how Tatsuma Hiyuu transferred to Magami High School and met Kyouichi Horaiji, Aoi Misato, Komaki Sakurai and Yuuya Daigo. It’s basically an origins episode that shows how they were first attacked by the undead.

Because of the very confusing first episode, I didn’t know that they had met each other but I blame that on the fact that the first episode was kind of confusing in the first place. The

second episode helps clear things up and is an interesting way to show how all the main characters met each other.

This episode does a much better job of establishing the main characters and the fight scenes were really cool. The English dub is also very good and the voice actors sound pretty good for their roles. Brandon Hearnsberger does a decent job as Tatsuma Hiyuu and David Wald is good as Kyouichi Horaiji.

      • Aoi Misato is played by Stephanie Wittels, Komaki Sakurai is played by Melissa Pritchett and Yuuya Daigo is played by Andrew Love.

The English cast is decent and they do a good job with the voices. It’s a decent show, although the intended audience is definitely the mature crowd. It has strong language and blood and violence. This is not a show for kids and is recommended for adults as this anime

deals with zombies and the undead. It’s worth a rental from Netflix or watching it on Funimation’s website, it’s not really something I’d want in my collection but isn’t a complete waste of my time either. It’s a decent show but too confusing to be as good as it could be.

Tokyo Majin is available on DVD from Funimation after they bought the rights from ADV Films and can be bought on Amazon.com and Rightstuf.com.
