  • I will freely admit that I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to K & M International of Ohio, but I thought it was worth writing a review of their standing wolf plush figure as it is really rather impressive, and could make an excellent gift for someone who loves wolves
  • Before I begin the main part of the review, I should mention that - as I think most people will expect - this figure is actually manufactured in China, not the United States
  • It should be noted that this does make the figure less soft than many plush toys, and as such I would not recommend it to be given to very young children
  • All in all, I would say that this figure could be recommended, but definitely as a gift or a collectible rather than a toy

I will freely admit that I am not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to K & M International of Ohio, but I thought it was worth writing a review of their standing wolf plush figure as it is really rather impressive, and could make an excellent gift for someone who loves wolves. Before I begin the main part of the review, I should mention that - as I think most people will expect - this figure is actually manufactured in China,

      not the United States.

The wolf stands free on its four legs, which are therefore reasonably sturdy. It should be noted that this does make the figure less soft than many plush toys, and as such I would not recommend it to be given to very young children. Perhaps from about age five upwards would be okay, though naturally parents will have to make their own decisions about that depending on their own children’s development.

This is quite a large figure, measuring around 40 centimetres ...

      • from the tip of its nose to the tip of its tail and standing around half that distance high. It works very well as a plush to have sitting on a desk, although the fact that its head is tilted slightly sideways (deliberately so) does mean that a little bit of care needs to be taken in its positioning! I actually find it slightly distracting, though, so you might not want to have it near you if you really need to concentrate.

        This plush

does not have super-soft fur, which is another reason why it seems to be aimed at older children and adult collectors. Instead the fur seems very slightly bristly and coarse, which makes it less good if you want something to snuggle up to, but more realistic (as far as these things go!) in terms of putting over a “wolf-like” feel. All in all, I would say that this figure could be recommended, but definitely as a gift or a collectible rather than a toy.
