Stitch’s great escape is a no more then a glorified theatrical show. The ride is located in Tomorrow Land at Walt Disney World. The ride has seasonal fast passes and replaced the the previous show, the ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter. Stitch’s great escape is a far cry from what that show ever was.
The ride is a prequel to the Disney movie Lilo & Stitch. The show begins in the queuing area where you get a small demonstration of how aliens are transferred into the main area (where the main show takes place). This queuing area is actually quite entertaining and pays homage to
the past attraction in this building by using the alien from the previous ride, although a toned down more kid friendly version. The queuing area will provide some laughs if you pay attention, but with most guests waiting to get to the main show sometimes this show is not as enjoyable.
You are then brought into the main staging area. Here you are sat down and a shoulder restraint is lowered down. Here, while it might seem like you are in for a stomach churning spinning ride, don’t worry you stay still the entire ride. The show then commences as you are told ...
