Nikon D3000 is a series of entry-level SLR (Single Lens Reflex) Nikon’s latest and when I hear or read the entry-level may be a direct impression imagine the limited features, the quality is not good, and so on. But it seems that D3000 is not included in that category and can to prove it through the image sharpness performance.

D3000 has a 10.2 Megapixel resolution with a DX format, APS-C CCD censor. 11 point autofocus system with 3D Tracking, Active D-Lighting and armed with lens AF-S DX Nikkor 18-55mm F3.5-5.6 VR. D3000 focused for consumers who want to move from compact cameras to the SLR arena and therefore makes Nikon D3000 with several automated features such as Nikon Guide Mode that offers some tips for shooting up to the camera settings. This camera also has six exposure

modes that will allow novice photographers to use it. Others are three frames per second and ISO controls ranging from 100 to 1600 which can be increased up to 3200. D3000 had the look and feel similar to some previous SLR camera from Nikon. Especially D90 and D5000. Dimensions are 5.0 x 3.8 x 2.6 inches. Striking difference is the use of CMOS sensors in the D90 and D5000, and the resolution of both is 12 Megapixel. D3000 has 3 inches LCD screen with a resolution of 230,000 pixels.

D3000 is very thick with the air of a classic Nikon cameras. Hot-shoe, mode dial, command dial and multi-selector. Integrated flash, AF lock, function button, shutter. All typical Nikon, even to the view menu. Plastic body that feels comfortable gripped, not too big and not too small.

      D3000 performance ...

      • just below the D5000. Nikon EXPEED Image Processor that become cause. The sensor works very well for displaying images in low light conditions (low-light) combined with the ISO setting. The resulting picture is very good for the camera entry-level SLR. Colors are rich and some shooting modes options make more quality emerged. Flash performance was not disappointing, the results of the shadow images can be reduced to the maximum. As for focus, too, taking the focus on the picture to be taken fairly quickly (0.60 seconds). 3 modes namely Matrix Metering, Center Weighted and Spot Metering works with accurate to translate the images with appropriate exposure to the contrast level at the time the picture is taken. There are few faults were at low-light condition but the result still can not say ugly.

        D3000 weakness lies in

the system memory buffers that are categorized as slow at the moment after the shooting and then to see the results of these pictures, sometimes take up to a further four seconds. Then the resulting shutter lag of D3000 also slow. But this does not seem to be a big problem considering this camera is the entry-level.

With the market price of U.S. $ 600, Nikon D3000 is clearly the choice of the very values the camera of its kind. D3000 offers a great camera body with a combination of the NIKKOR lenses are famous in the world of photography combined with a series that also features a matching him to produce good pictures. Nikon feature embedded Guide Mode helps beginners photographers who want to taste SLR camera. Some weaknesses are unfortunate, but overall D3000 is a good camera.
