Stick It the MovieItem: Stick It the Movie
I recently had the chance to watch the movie, Stick It. I really was not expecting it to be good at all, my little sisters are the ones that wanted to watch it being fans of the sport of gymnastics.
At first I thought the movie started out really slow, and I was even mildly bored more than once. But I watched the movie till the end with my sisters and I was surprised with the way that it ended and the stuff that the girls could actually take from it. True, the actresses in the movie tried too hard and were more exaggerated than they needed to be to get the point that they were trying to make. Some of the actresses were down right annoying too. But I think it was pretty neat that they used actual gymnasts, even Nastia was in it prior to winning the gold medal in the Olympics. While I would not say that this movie was as good as it could be, it was a fair attempt at the plot. My sisters loved it, they watched it several times before we had to return it. I won’t watch it again, but I will say that anyone who enjoys gymnastics, would like this movie. Rating: 7
