The large size and oval shape of this slow cooker makes it easy to make large family meals or cook an entire roast at one time. The ceramic crock is easy to clean, but what really makes this slow cooker so appealing is the cooking features that it has. In addition to the ordinary slow cooker settings of high, low, and keep warm, the Stay or Go has a probe thermometer. You can set the desired temperature on the slow cooker, and it will cook until the meat reaches that temperature and then automatically switch to keep warm. This way you know that if you have to be away from home longer than you intended, your meat will still only cook to the appropriate temperature and won’t dry out. You can also set a timer so that the crock pot doesn’t turn on until a certain time.

Another neat feature that this slow cooker has is locking latches on the lid. This allows you to seal up the slow cooker and take it with you so that you don’t spill anything. This way you can cook up a hot meal and take it to someone or take it on a picnic.

This is by far the best slow cooker I’ve ever had. It’s a little pricier than some others, but if you plan to use it a lot I think it is well worth the money.
