I discovered this wonderful little store yesterday through a friend of mine. She said it was a very tiny store and tiny it is indeed. But you wouldn’t believe how well stocked this place is with food! The store literally consists of two very short aisles. Amazingly, they are loaded with spices and herbs, frozen meats, cheeses, candies and crafts.

I spent about fifty bucks and feel like I got some really great organic food. It’s all natural from the Amish folks of course. I even got potato chips that taste just as great as regular chips. In fact, I think they taste better because the Amish don’t use all that grease and chemical additives. I got chipotle cheese and some sort of garden cheese made with organic cultures and yogurt.

Actually, I just planned picking up some ribeyes that are only two bucks a piece for six ounce portions. They are individually packaged which is perfect for me. I ended up also purchasing some catfish and shrimp. I’m not really sure how you make organic shrimp and fish unless they have a pond somewhere. I’m sure they do. I think the beef is fed whole grain only, anyway….it tastes great! I wouldn’t have bought any cheese either except the friendly cashier fed us some samples. Gosh, do they have some good food!

Now, they have some jellies and some other stuff. I didn’t have the money on me to go too hog wild in here, but I will be returning to this little store. It’s a great way to diet but still get to eat like a pig. The fudge was amazing…I can’t believe it’s not fattening!

If you are ever in the Somerset area, I highly recommend this place as a place for anyone to stop and shop. You will find something you like! There’s some antique malls in the same area if you’re interested. This place is about 30 minutes up the Cumberland Parkway from where I live. I would make a special trip just to go back to this store.

I love it and give it a rating of 9! It’s clean, the cashier was friendly and not too far from where I live! I believe I will start a new diet consisting of mainly organic food. It’s not that much more expensive. But when you think of all the health issues that go along with fattening foods….I will probably save myself a few doctor trips for clogged arteries and such.
