Before I bought the CONAIR Ion Shine Hair Dryer, I had been using a really old blow dryer that my mom had been using for years. Every single time I used to blow dryer, my hair would be dry and really gross looking. So I was convinced that all hair dryers were evil and really bad for your hair and left your hair all dry and brittle. However, on a recent visit to Target, I came across the CONAIR Ion Shine Hair Dryer and decided to get it since it was under $20. I did not really have anything to lose. My hair is slightly wavy, but I have always been obsessed with having curly hair. That is precisely the reason why I used to perm my hair. However, the CONAIR blow dryer comes with a diffuser that helps set in curls in your hair. Now I am sporting curls that I never know I had, and I don’t even have to perm my hair anymore. I usually wash my hair every morning, and then apply a dime size amount of conditioning cream and then a volumizing mousse and then I blow dry my hair with
CONAIR. After my hair is half dry, I spray some curling gel onto my hair and then blow-dry some one until my hair is completely dry. The result is amazing. My hair has so much shine and bounce and volume. I am so thankful I did not perm my hair again, as I was planning on doing before I bought this blow dryer.

Since my hair is a lot longer now, I can start sporting waves. I have stopped straight ironing my hair. Although, I do blow dry it every morning, my hair looks and feels a lot healthier. The crazy split ends that I had are almost invisible now, and I finally feel like I have the kind of hair that I have always wanted. I naturally have very thin, wavy hair. However, with the help of CONAIR and the diffuser that came with it, my hair is much thicker with pretty waves now. I have noticed that I have to spend a lot less time fussing with my hair now, since I know exactly what I am doing. All I have to do with put some volumizing mousse and then blow-dry it with a diffuser and my hair magically transforms and make me look like a bombshell. I am incredibly thankful that I decided to buy the CONAIR Ion Shine hair dryer instead of getting another perm.

Along with the diffuser, the hair dryer comes with four other devices that you can attach onto your hair dryer. I usually only use the diffuser, however sometimes when I want to blow dry my hair straight, I use the other attachments. The settings are: hot, warm, and cool. I usually only do hot since I am trying to dry my hair as soon as possible. It usually only takes me a little less than five minutes to completely dry my hair. Also, I wrap my hair in a towel and leave it like that for about fifteen minutes before I blow-dry it. That way, when I start using the hair dryer, my hair is already semi dry and so I am causing less damage to my hair.
