I tried Mucinex Max Strength Tablet to help relieve a terrible cold that I had that lasted over a week. I had such a bad cough and was extremely congested that I was unable to get rid of mucus. I had a constant cough, but was unable to loosen the mucus and as a result, my throat was severely irritated that I was barely able to swallow anything.
I saw a commercial for Mucinex and immediately went to the drug store to give this over-the-counter medication a try. This medication was a miracle cure for all my symptoms! This medication is used to loosen and thin out mucous do when a person coughs they can get rid of the mucous. I must say after just the first dose a noticed a difference! It is recommended to take one tablet every twelve hours with a full glass of water. It is not required that you take food when using this medication. I, personally, did not and did not have any stomach issues at all. After about thirty minutes from taking the first dose, my nose started to run and when I coughed, I actually was able to bring up some mucous. As the day went on and I continued to blow my nose and spit out any mucous that I was able to spit out, I started to feel better! After taking only a total of three doses, I no longer needed this medication and in another few days my throat was able to heal because my coughing subsided! This medication really works and is a great addition to your medicine cabinet especially as cold season approaches! Rating: 10
