Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0 HDIItem: Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0 HDI
My family and I have been using Citroen Xsara Picasso 2.0 HDI since 2004 and we have never had any major problem with this car. When I first saw it I was really impressed by its interior, which was different from every car I had ever seen by then. This and as well the fact that it has an economical diesel engine were the reasons why my family decided to buy this car.
One thing that I still like a lot today is the interior’s design. In the back it has 3 separate seats and the front seats are also special because they look like armchairs. All the seats in the car are very comfortable even when you travel for many hours. I also like how they designed the dashboard on which you can find the modern car computer and a lot of other buttons. Everything is easily accessible to the driver. However, I am not thrilled at the sight of the car’s exterior. It is too simple and nothing really special can be seen in its design. I’m not saying that I don’t like it, just that I would preferred a car with a more interesting and modern shape in concordance with the innovative interior. I have to admit that Xsara Picasso is very easy to drive. The gearshift is located in a perfect spot to enable the driver’s moves. Another advantage that I found in this car is the lifted position of the seat. Taking into consideration that I’m not very tall this kind of seat position helps me a lot to have a better view around the car when I’m driving. Having a diesel engine, Xsara Picasso is an economical vehicle in spite of the 2.0L engine. This is why it is ideal for those who travel often, have a big family and need a lot of space for luggage. The boot is very big and I have never had a problem in taking too many things when I went travelling by this car. The last aspects mentioned demonstrate why Citroen Xsara Picasso is more like a family car and why it is not really suited as a city car. I consider my family made a good choice buying this car although sometimes we think that it might be a bit too large taking into account that we rarely travel together by car. Rating: 8
