iPod TouchItem: iPod Touch
When Apple first introduced the iPod Touch it late 2007 it became a hit for those wanted an iPhone without the contract, plus in helped usher in the multi touch touch screen as a viable medium for interaction. With it 3rd generation iPod Touch introduced in late 2009 Apple has added more value and bang for the buck to it’s awesome iPod.
I have a 8gb iPod touch and it is capable of holding thousands of songs, dozens of apps, and quite a few videos. One highlight on the Apple touch screen lines in the App Store where over 50,000 independently produced and Apple produced apps live. Some are free and some are paid. With games, productivity, social networking, photo, and more apps available the iPod touch is truly customizable and useful. Let’s talk about the hardware itself, it has a all glass multi touch screen on front with a home button. On the side and bottom we have volume rockers, dock connector, and headphone jack. The back of the device is made out of curved stainless steel. The bad part about this steel is that is scratches so easily. Other than the scratching it is a very well put together device. The iPod touch is definitely a hit and customers will want more and more. I would always recommend the iPod touch as a excellent multimedia device. Rating: 10
