Hong Kong Renaissance Harbour View HotelItem: Renaissance Harbour View Hotel - Hong Kong
The hotel is tucked at the heart of the city. It stands a few blocks away from entertainments hubs and restaurant strips. A five minute walk would bring you to the famous shopping strips.
The hotel crew seemed like they lacked the energy to do customer service. Front desk was so serious. When I called for room service, the crew who brought in my request looked less pleased with climbing several floors to get to my room. Whenever I ask for directions from the staff, they just provide directions and immediately leave. They seem to be avoiding small chats with guests. Food was average. There are a lot of restaurant choices, each representing a famous international cuisine of a particular continent or country. The waiters, unlike the other hotel crew, were accommodating. They would usually run down to me the highlight dish for the day and would help me with my dish choice. Rooms were huge. Space was enough to hold a wide study table facing the window perfect for finishing any work-related paperwork that a guest might need to do. the interiors were modern and so are the equipments. Bathroom was clean and spotless. There were a lot of amenities. The gym had in-house instructors who would usually assist me in my routines. The spa also provided a very relaxing treat to guests. The therapists were nice and accommodating. The facilities were also spacious and clean. The hotel was great except for the staff. They should be trained and taught how to be sincere in doing their jobs. Rating: 7
