I turn to The Body Shop every time I need to suppress the stress out of my system. I have been using their scented oils and creams usually laden with natural ingredients and aromatic powers that help soothe aches and pains. Notably, Tea tree oil by the body shop is an exceptional pre-blended oil which I find to work wonders for both mind and body.
Contact author by : I have read a lot about the healing wonders of this natural oil. I first used this tea tree oil to treat insect bites on my arms and legs. Mosquito bites are particularly very itchy but once the oil was applied, the itching stopped and redness disappeared. It helps to calm skin condition and hastens healing process. My best experience with this product was how it treated a few acne and whiteheads on the back of my body. I just apply a few drops on the spot and blemishes are lessened the next morning. It’s a skin-clearing wonder. This brand of tea tree oil doesn’t feel slippery on skin, it only produces a cool soothing sensation as it vaporizes on the surface probably due to its alcohol content. I used to have the old original tea tree oil which used to be derived from Australia. Now, the newer updated bottle has better soothing properties which include several kinds of oils like lemon tea, namandu and tea tree oil which is now derived from Kenya. I don’t think I like the odorous liniment smell of this oil. But it’s a great aroma therapy bath as well. I use it sometimes to relieve stress with a warm aromatic bath. I feel more relaxed after bathing. It also works for relieving my constant bouts of migraine by massaging the oil on my temples. Well the price is more than just any ordinary herbal potions costing 395 pesos or around 9 dollars. But its dual purpose makes it a great alternative to beat expensive skin clearing cosmetics either at the medicine cabinet or the vanity corner.
