Using it is really not that complicated. In fact it is very easy with its two-step procedure. All I have to do is insert the test strip and apply the sample to it and that’s it. Wait for about thirty seconds and the blood sugar result will appear just before your eyes.

The test strip of this diabetic care system is a lot wider and longer than those used from other brands thus it is easier to grip and insert to the glucometer that goes with it.

The glucometer is also has an easy grip feature that makes it a lot easier to use than other brands in the market today. It can also record the last ten blood glucose reading so in case that I was not able to record every result eventually, I can still review the results later on without the fear of the result being removed from its memory.

However after using this glucometer that comes with this diabetes care system for about six months, I started to notice that it sometimes unexpectedly shuts down even in the middle of applying the blood sample to its strip and it really makes me upset because I have to repeat the blood extraction and prick the patient again.

I checked why this sometimes happen and I learned that the battery is already becoming a little loose thus sometimes cutting the energy going into the glucometer. To solve this problem, I inserted a small piece of paper between the battery and its cover and this really helped since now the power of the glucometer thus not chut off unexpectedly.
