RCBC my wallet card is a debit card account of Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation-Philippines. The first time I heard this automated teller machine card from my male board mate, I got interested because I don’t have to carry cash anymore for bill payments and reloading my cellular phones.
What I love about this bank service is that I don’t have to carry cash when shopping or when paying my bills. At the same time I can only determine how much amount do I need to deposit and when do I deposit because there’s no maintaining balance of this account, and even if I would not make a deposit transaction for how many months, the account will not be closed. So I won’t panic if I cannot deposit in three months. My intention for availing this card is for shopping purposes, sometimes I won’t withdraw big amount because I am afraid I cannot control myself and spend everything on vanity and other unnecessary things not so much of importance. With today’s surging economic crisis, the last thing that happened in my life is to live far down below my monthly income, that’s why I am controlling my expenditures. The trouble with me is that, if I have an available cash in my wallet, all my budgeting plan will ruined because I will really spend until the last drop.But right now that I have an RCBC my wallet card, everything is under control including my habit in spending. My first transaction with this card was having grocery, it’s nice because I really think a lot with the cash I deposited and the items I picked up in the grocery, I was afraid I might go overboard with the amount in my account that I choose carefully what item to be punched. This is a lot easier for me since I don’t worry of bringing purse and coin holder for the change, and it won’t take time to shop because the salesgirl won’t scramble anymore to look for coins for the change. But one disadvantage is that, this account has a maximum amount of only 50,000 to be deposited. But for me it is not a great concern because it has no minimum and maintaining balance. Rating: 10
