Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong KongItem: Cosmopolitan Hotel Hong Kong
The hotel is tucked within the heart of the city. Metro station is located just around the corner giving tourists full access to the must see spots. No need to ride expensive cabs to travel around. Airport transfer has to be arranged early on since it’s quite far.
The guards and bell boy were all friendly. They would usually take time to chat with guest. The front desk who arranged my accommodations was a snob. He didn’t even look me at the eyes all through out registration process. The housekeeping didn’t reciprocate my greeting. It would have been better if everyone was as perky as the bell boys and the guards. The food was okay. The restaurant was too cramped. One morning, most if not all of the guests dined at the same time. I got a table at the far end of the room. I had to walk some distance and pass by several tables before reaching the buffet table. The room was big and had a modern feel. The bedside lamps had some bright but cool colors which I liked. Ventilation had a soothing and relaxing effect. The bed and pillows were soft and comforting. Sheets and bathroom was spotless. I smelled lavender when I entered the room. WIFI was also strong so I didn’t have any problem doing my emails. The amenities were complete. They had up to date facilities in the work out center. Some instructors are occasionally on duty to assist guests with the new equipments. Spa had an exemplary massage staff. Business center was available at the lobby. Charge’s a bit expensive. You have to pay for every bond paper used. The hotel is beautiful. The amenities are world class. Rates are definitely high, but at least you get ultimate comfort in exchange. Rating: 8
