We are all for the cool stuff that is useless but look awesome. Take, for example, Nate’s hair. But many use gimmicks just take too much space. Motorola GD900 Crystal gimmicks galore, but too many of them get in the way users experience a
smooth, translucent keyboard and the magic is not enough to make us fall in love with this phone.

You have to respect Motorola for trying something new with the keypad GD900. That anger was made of glass and lights around the edges with a bluish white light. It’s a very cool idea, and we love the weight and density of glass. Unfortunately, the
button does not feel quite as good as possible, because the back is made of clear plastic much flimsier.

Keys also touch-sensitive controller. That means you can scroll to the item on the phone with a finger swipe on the keypad. You can even use multitouch to zoom images and Web pages by pinching your fingers on the keypad, and also in the display.

Touch sensitive buttons are a good idea, because you can navigate around without covering the screen with your fingers. And, when you do not need it, slid out of sight. But, unless you do something really fiddly, such as clicking a link on a Web
site packed with them, we are not sure how useful it was.

Some touch-sensitive feature is very useful. For example, one nice feature allows you to use gestures - for example, draw a circle - to launch applications of your choice, such as your contacts. In good light, we yell at them enough for the average phone, with washed-out colors and lack of detail. In dim conditions, the picture is very noisy and LED photo light provides an illustration of our pink cast. We appreciate the shutter speed, however,

However, GD900 will lose out to the cheapest compact camera in the fight.
