Mapen Study ToolsItem: Mapen Study Tools
I have always seemed to have a problem with math tools like protractors and compasses, but Maped makes them easy to use, and virtually unbreakable. They come in a little tin, and inside there are all kinds of little gadgets. I really like the metal container and how it keeps everything organized and together, rather than in one big pointy heap. And, it’s cheap too. I can’t remember exactly how much it cost, but it wasn’t more that $3. The container is easy to open, and inside all the tools are a nice, uniform color scheme, they are silver and clear and black. Very nice, I was getting sick of all the bight mismatching colors that all my old math tools used to be in. There are three triangular measuring tools, and a protractor, a compass, a straightedge, and another tool that looks like a compass, but isn’t one. My favorite of them all is the compass. It is very nice, it moves smoothly, but also does not move when you need it to stay still. It keeps the measurement you need it to, and then will move to another very easily. I also like the size of the pencil-attachment. It is just large enough that I can put a mechanical pencil in it and not have to worry about ever sharpening a normal pencil, or having a just-sharpened tip break. It is very convenient. Because the protractor is clear, it is also very easy to use. You can measure virtually any angle with this, and it also doubles as a straightedge on one side, so you won’t have to go grabbing all kinds of different tools all for one problem. I have never found measuring angles and doing constructions easier. Although they do not do the miracle of making me love math, they do make me that it just a little bit less. And, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone! Rating: 8
